Raoul Nowitz focuses on providing restructuring advisory services and related investment banking services to middle market companies in a variety of industries. His experience includes resolving complex needs of clients via financial and operational restructurings, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raisings. Roles have included developing restructuring initiatives to improve operations, profitability, and liquidity; performing analyses leading to capital restructurings; preparing liquidity forecasts; preparing and assessing complex financial projections and business plans; executing of merger and acquisition strategies; and facilitating capital raisings on behalf of clients. Prior to joining SOLIC, he was a Director with Navigant Capital Advisors and Macquarie Capital, and also worked at Giuliani Capital Advisors and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, both predecessor firms of Macquarie Capital, and Grant Thornton International’s Accounting, Audit & Tax Division. Mr. Nowitz received his Masters of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University, where he qualified Beta Gamma Sigma recognition for Honors achievement in business study, and received his Bachelor of Commerce and Postgraduate Bachelor of Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa), is FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed, and received his Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV) designations.
