Matthew E. Rubin has over 25 years of professional experience and serves as Senior Managing Director of Restructuring and Distressed Asset Support Services, including over 20 years of managing distressed and special situations, typically in an interim management or fiduciary role, with depth and breadth of experience including: developing restructuring initiatives to improve operations, profitability, and liquidity; performing analyses leading to capital restructurings, preparation of liquidity forecasts, financial projections and business plans; and supporting the planning, diligence, positioning, and optimal execution of the disposition and monetization of assets.
In addition to serving his clients, Mr. Rubin also serves as SOLIC’s Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer responsible for the development, execution, and implementation of firm’s strategy and operational initiatives.
Prior to joining SOLIC, Mr. Rubin was a Managing Director at Navigant Capital Advisors, LLC and led restructuring mandates in a number of industries including but not limited to: healthcare, financial services, real estate, commercial and industrial, and business services.
Mr. Rubin received his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas and his MBA from DePaul Kellstadt School of Business. He is FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licensed, holds an AIRA certification as a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor, is Certified in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV), and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
