Edward R. Casas has over 25 years of experience in leadership positions in mergers & acquisitions, operational turnarounds, crisis management, financial advisory, corporate fiduciary, and managing investor roles. Dr. Casas has been nationally recognized for his Executive Chairman leadership of multiple successful “grave-to-cradle” rehabilitations, frequently exceeding return expectations for stakeholders by driving performance improvement and ultimate optimal monetization events. He has been elected to the boards of numerous public and private companies typically leading strategy, compensation, and/or audit committees, consistently ranked as “Top Investment Banker” in the distressed company market sector by The Deal.
Prior professional services roles include serving as Head of Navigant Capital Advisors, the corporate financial advisory business segment of Navigant Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:NCI); Founder and Managing Partner of Casas, Benjamin & White, LLC, a boutique financial advisory, investment banking, and principal investment firm until its sale to NCI; President and CEO of PrimeCare International (a national diversified health care services company); corporate Vice President and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Caremark International (a NYSE fortune 500 public company); and active duty as a designated flight surgeon assigned to United States Marine Corps military operations support.
Dr. Casas has led the origination and oversight of over 600 mandates with combined company capitalizations in excess of $150 billion involving operating rehabilitations, capital restructuring and monetization events across a broad range of industry sectors in fiduciary, trusted advisory, and/or principal investor capacities. He is a decorated Desert Shield / Desert Storm Veteran and a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medical School and Kellogg Graduate School of Management where he concurrently earned his Doctor of Medicine, Master of Management/Business Administration, and Master of Public Health degrees. Dr. Casas is a FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licensed registered securities principal. He also holds an AIRA certification as a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor.
